How Much Does Property Management Cost in Auckland?

Auckland property management typically costs between 7% and 10% + GST on collected rent, plus separate fees for inspections and tenant placement. At Venko Property, we charge 8.5% + GST on rent collected, $50 + GST per quarterly inspection, and one week’s rent + GST when placing a new tenant. Zero markup on maintenance. If the property is vacant, you pay nothing.

Most Auckland landlords pay between $3,200 and $5,800 per year in total property management costs on a typical $700 per week rental, depending on the agency, their fee structure, and how often maintenance is required.

When Finding New Tenants

These costs only apply when finding new tenants. Lease renewals with existing tenants: $0.
